COVID-19 is a global problem affecting millions of people. To minimize infections and protect people, we have developed STERYBOT – an autonomous robot for surface disinfection.
STERYBOT uses UV disinfection lamps with concentrated germicidal UV-C light. UV light disinfection is effective: The ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UVGI) eliminates up to 99.99% of all viruses and bacteria – sensitive surfaces and medical equipment remain unaffected. The robot drives through the operating environment completely autonomously. Integrated functional safety and navigation software optimized over thousands of miles ensure a reliable localization and the avoidance of people and obstacles. The stainless-steel housing with an antimicrobial coating prevents the transmission of germs by the robot itself.
When the job is done, STERYBOT returns to its charging station and is ready for the next run after 2-3 hours.
Disinfetion robot - Easy setup
The robot installation can also be carried out by the user himself. Just use your phone to configure areas to be disinfected and operating times. We also offer on-site support on request.
STERYBOT is ideal for the daily, verifiable UV light disinfection in hospitals and medical centers. But the UV disinfection system can also be used for supermarkets, malls, hotels, offices, schools, or in manufacturing.

RESEARCH CONFIRMS EFFECTIVENESS OF STERYBOT UV-C LAMPS
The research team around Anthony Griffiths, Ph.D., associate professor of microbiology, in Boston University’s National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories (NEIDL), validates that Signify´s UV-C germicidal lamps used in STERYBOT, can inactivate the SARS-CoV-2 virus of 99% within seconds.
